The Tax Justice Network, together with the Ghana Revenue Authority, UNU-WIDER, Skatteforsk, the University of Ghana, and the International Growth Centre, convened a regional workshop on the use of administrative tax data in Accra, Ghana.

The final conference of the EU Horizon project DemoTrans: Democracy, Globalisation, and the Future of Governance, is taking place in Leuven, Belgium, on May 7-8, 2026. The DemoTrans project is a partner of the Admin Data for Tax Justice initiative.

The EU Tax Observatory and Skatteforsk, two partners of the Admin Data for Tax Justice initiative, are hosting a conference titled: "From Secrecy to Transparency: The End of Hidden Wealth?". The conference will include presentations of papers using administrative data to study tax as well as more general discussions about using administrative data.

The Tax Justice Network, the coordinator of the Admin Data for Tax Justice initiative, together with Skatteforsk, Charles University, and the International Growth Centre, hosted an in-person workshop "Unlocking the potential of administrative data for tax abuse research" in Prague, Czech Republic, in December 2025.

The Tax Justice Network held the global launch of the Admin Data for Tax Justice initiative on December 15, 2026, via Zoom. The webinar included a panel discussion with some of the most influential researchers working with administrative data to study tax. A recording is available.
